Who we are

A force drawn from the community it protects.

The Civilian Joint Task Force is a volunteer-led civilian security structure raised by communities themselves. What began as neighbours refusing to look away has grown into an organised force with ranks, sectors and a chain of command — still answerable, first and always, to the people it came from.

The Southeast Zonal Command coordinates that work across Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia and Imo: sharing intelligence, supporting patrols, resolving disputes early and standing between ordinary families and those who would harm them.

“Vigilance is not suspicion. It is the duty a community owes itself.”

01

Community first

Drawn from the towns and villages we protect, accountable to the people who know us by name.

02

Eyes on the ground

Local knowledge and early warning, from market squares to the far edges of the ward.

03

Shoulder to shoulder

Working alongside the Nigeria Police, the Army and civil authorities at every level.

04

Ready at all hours

A command structure that answers the call at any hour, in any of the five states.

Stand with your community.

The force is built from volunteers — farmers, traders, teachers and students who give their time to keep their own streets safe. Applications are reviewed by the zonal command.
